Lend Lease subsidiary wins $52m ACT contract

Lend Lease Corporation Limited (LLC) announced that its subsidiary, Delfin Lend Lease Limited in partnership with Macquarie Real Estate Equity Fund No 6 Pty Limited (”MREEF”) won the right to acquire and develop the Land Development Agency’s Casey site in Canberra. The site was purchased for $52 million and is due to settle in December 2008. more

Canberra’s rental crisis eases

A property research group says Canberra’s rental vacancy rates have eased and the worst of the national capital’s rental crisis is over.

New figures show the vacancy rate is 1.1 per cent - up from last year’s rate of 0.3 per cent.
